Gay Travel Award Winners Announced

Updated December 29, 2021 by Outvoices Editors

The public has spoken and the Gay Travel Awards have announced the winners of their annual poll which seeks to find the best in LGBTQ travel. From airlines to car rentals to friendly destinations, the Gay Travel Awards are a resource for those who demand inclusion in their destination plans.

GayTravel Chief Visionary Officer Steve Rohrlick said: “This year has been another challenging one for travelers. With the pandemic ebbing and flowing across the globe and the uncertainty related to the latest Omicron variant, many are restricted from traveling or waiting for a safer time. The Gay Travel Awards affords us all a moment to focus on the industry’s best as a prologue to getting back out there.”

From domestic to international goals, the list below is the result of votes gathered from people who visited the Gay Travel Awards website over the past few months and selected their favorite, "destinations, properties, events, influencers, and other organizations that exemplify a spirit of inclusiveness and hospitality excellence."

The awards have been given out annually for the past six years. Congratulations to the winners and here's to hoping that safe travel gets back to normal in 2022.
