In this spooky season issue, we're visiting some local favorites, revisiting some tropical flavors, and taking a stroll down memory lane. Everyone loves food and drinks but did you know you can also make some of these favorite recipes? Take a look inside and see what we've got in store for you this month!

Read about some more delectable delights, thirst-quenching cocktails, and some spooky and bizarre foods from around the world. Thanks to your travelers, we get to experience some of the food you want to know about, and some you probably don't. Either way, everyone had fun trying out the local cuisines from South American to Asia. It all makes it easier to swallow by trying a few of the cocktail recipes.

Dining in Birmingham

We start by exploring Birmingham Alabama. That's right, Birmingham also known as the Dinner Table of the South. Downtown is host to many chef-owned restaurants offering top notch cuisine including James Beard awarded Highlands Bar & Grill.

In fact, Birmingham is home to a couple James Beard awarded restaurants. The other is Hot and Hot Fish Club, where you'll find the crowd favorite, Tomato Salad! The restaurant owners have created a fantastic network of purveyors to obtain the freshest ingredients around.

Vegas and their culinary evolution

Moving a little to the west, we discover how Sin City has changed over the years. From The Sultan's Table in the 60's to Wulfgang Puck's Spago, the 5-star dining scene has continue to grow up and down the famous strip.

Downtown is making a comeback by the opening new resort, Circa Las Vegas. Where they'll offer over 10 drinking and dining experiences from casual dining to old-school style with a modern twist.
