Big Gay Fourth celebrates Independence Day for the LGBTQ community

Get excited for an amazing night of music and fireworks! This outdoor event will feature a DJ, Drag Show, and a Downtown Fireworks Watch Party. The fireworks will be launched from 500 N. Meridian (just 2.5 blocks from the venue)

Everyone over the age of 21 is welcome. Gates and Bar Open at 6:30 p.m.

Platinum: VIP front row table for four including table service.Gold: VIP second row table for six including table service.

Silver: Close to the action! Individual, seated ticket.

Bronze: Enjoy the show! Individual, seated ticket.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS:
The gate opens at 6:30 p.m for this ages 21+ event with a DJ playing, Drag Show 8:00-9:30 p.m. Downtown fireworks start at approximately 10pm. Arrive early to choose your seats in your ticketed section. Allow for plenty of time to park and check in.

This an outdoor event, so please dress for the event. No outside food or drink is permitted. There is a full bar for your enjoyment with beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Gender-Inclusive Universities and Student Privacy

For many students, attending university is a profound, often life-changing, transition. It is often the student’s first time living on their own without parental supervision. This lifestyle is also accompanied by a period of self-discovery, of defining and redefining a sense of personal identity largely independent of the influence of family and friends from home.

For students who are members of the LGBTQ+ community, this rite of passage can also be a deeply empowering one. Indeed, attending university may be the student’s first real opportunity to explore their gender identity in a safe, comfortable, and accepting college.
