John Anderson will advance after a win over Gene Martinez 6-2;6-4. Tad Williams experienced a win by default after his opponent failed to show. He will advance in play as well.

Officials with the Gay Games have issued a heat warning and asked that all athletes and spectators bring extra water and other hydration as temperatures sore into the high 90s and low 100s. Ten athletes have been treated for heat related illnesses since the games started on Sunday.
