Founder of Pittsburgh Motorcycle Club celebrates 50 years in the leather community

On Friday, December 9, 2005, Peter G. Rapp II, Founder and President Emeritus of the Pittsburgh Motorcycle Club (PMC), will celebrate his 50th year in the Leather Community. His partner and friends are planning a celebration on that night at The Chute Complex in Nashville. Peter entered the leather scene in 1955 in New York City having been trained by one of the best masters in the New York Leather Scene. After two years, he went on to be a GDI on both the West and East Coasts. While working in Philadelphia from 1978 to 1983, he pledged to the Companions MC and was their road captain and ambassador-at-large until he moved to Pittsburgh; where he and his former partner Gus, founded PMC. Peter’s strength was in promoting the old-guard leather traditions, which he has continued throughout his life. PMC members traveled extensively promoting brotherhood and camaraderie in the true spirit of leather for over 20 years. In January 2003, PMC members decided to dissolve the club, as Peter had planned to move to Nashville where he currently resides. While in Pittsburgh, he was a Community Advisory Board member for 20 years on the Pittsburgh AIDS Project.

Upon his relocation to Nashville, Peter became active on three Community Advisory Boards — Comprehensive Care, GTLC and the Vaccine Trial Board. He is active in both the gay and leather communities. Peter is an active associate of the following leather clubs: Satyricons of Las Vegas, Centurions of Columbus, Iron Eagle of Canton, Excalibur of Cleveland, Chaps of Cincinnati, Redding Railmen of Redding, Vanguards and The Bucks MC of Philadelphia, Omicron of Indianapolis, MC Faucons of Montreal, Canada, Menamora of North Carolina, and the Crescent City Outlaws of New Orleans. He is also an Honorary Associate of the Crucibles of Pittsburgh. For the past 23 years, he has been an active Associate Member of the Conductors L/L of Nashville. He continues to promote the values of the Old Guard Leather ideals in hopes that the tradition will one day return. So, plan to join Peter, his partner and friends at The Chute Complex on December 9, 2005 for an evening of Old Guard values and protocol

A private Dungeon Party will follow. For hotel and party information contact Boy Steven at

SHOREHAM, VT (September 13, 2023) — WhistlePig Whiskey, the leaders in independent craft whiskey, and Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake are waving the checkered flag on a legend-worthy release that’s taking whiskey to G-Force levels. The Limited Edition PiggyBack Legends Series: Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Barrel is a high Rye Whiskey selected by the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake drivers, with barrels trialed in their wind tunnel to ensure a thrilling taste in every sip.

The third iteration in WhistlePig’s Single Barrel PiggyBack Legends Series, the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Barrel is bottled at 96.77 proof, a nod to Valtteri Bottas’ racing number, 77, and the precision of racing. Inspired by Zhou Guanyu, the first Chinese F1 driver, this Rye Whiskey is finished with lychee and oolong tea. Herbal and floral notes of the oolong tea complement the herbaceous notes of WhistlePig’s signature PiggyBack 100% Rye, rounded out with a juicy tropical fruit finish and a touch of spice.

Nurse Practitioner Ari Kravitz

When I started medical transition at 20 years old, it was very difficult to get the care I needed for hormone replacement therapy because there are very few providers trained in starting hormones for trans people, even though it’s very similar to the hormones that we prescribe to women in menopause or cisgender men with low testosterone.

I hope more providers get trained in LGBTQ+ healthcare, so they can support patients along their individual gender journey, and provide the info needed to make informed decisions about their body. I’ve personally seen my trans patients find hope and experience a better quality of life through hormone replacement therapy.
