DJ Killa Chris’ Top Tracks - April 17, 2021

DJ Killa Chris’s new playlist [CLICK HERE FOR PLAYLIST] of his top ten tracks for this week includes "The Center Will Not Hold" by Solomun, "I Don't Wanne" by Outgang - and much more!

THE LIST:

Elohim, GRiZ - Bring Me Back

I have been a fan of Elohim’s for a long time. Great house track with a fun bass and strange sounding vocals.

Solomun - The Center Will Not Hold

The melody in this song is infectious. The layering of the different elements of the song is really well done.

Dabin, Mokita - Drown

What a fantastic track. Every aspect of the production is phenomenal. I love the vocals and guitar throughout. The chorus is so well written, I expect to hear plenty of remixes of this song.

Marc Benjamin, Bancali - Miss You

The vocals and melody on this tune are great but when the beat drops it hits so hard. The bass is sure to get a lot of people dancing this summer.

Andy Moor - Safe On Both Sides

I’ve always been a fan of Andy Moor. He makes such quality trance music. Great haunting vocals that are complimented magnificently with a fun driving synth and bass.

M-22 - Gravity (feat. Rhea Melvin)

This is a fantastic house track. The vocals are really memorable and the bass and piano always get my feet moving.

Joel Corry, RAYE, David Guetta - BED - Chapter & Verse Remix

I love the bouncing bassline in this song. I really like how clever the vocals are.

Outgang - I Don't Wanne

The vocal distortion in this tune is really well done. The piano is simple but so catchy and compliments the deep bassline superbly.

Mango, A.M.R - Central Park

This deep house song has some really unique sounding synths. I really like the balance between piano and layered arpeggios, it creates a good amount of depth. The strings during the breakdown are beautiful.

Dissolut - DIY

The beats in this track are sick. The strange warping synth sounds so good with the manipulated vocals.

Financial Planning for the LGBTQ+ community

The new year has arrived. For many people, that means making resolutions and thinking of ways they can do better in the coming year and beyond. Money management and financial planning are often very popular resolutions and goals, but most financial advice tends to be aimed at heterosexual couples who want to grow their family and raise children.

But, what if your life goals are different? What if you don’t receive the same protection under the current laws as hetero couples?

Mental Health for LGBTQ+ Aging Adults

Queer elders have made a big impact on the world. Queer folks over the age of 65 were around during the Stonewall Movement in the 1960s and may have even campaigned to improve the rights and freedoms of LGBTQ+ people around the world.
