New Website shows off ‘Pride’ of Nashville

Nashville Pride launched a new Website today, www.nashvillepride.org, just in time to kick off the 2007 Pride Festival season (the 2007 Nashville Pride Festival – “Free to be ME” – is set for June 2 at Centennial Park).

The site, designed by SBResults of Hermitage, features a top header with random photos from the 2006 pride festival (by Richard Harman, courtesy of Out & About Newspaper and InsideOut Nashville), as well as a community calendar, photo gallery, a ‘donate now button’, as well as all the necessary forms – marketplace, sponsorship, food vendor, scholarship, and media kit.

There are also sections for visitor information, the board of directors, and current sponsors.

“We are ecstatic that SBResults has designed such a fabulous Website for us,” said Todd Grantham, Nashville Pride, Inc., president. “It is a tool that we’ll be able to use to help market Nashville Pride to potential sponsors. It’s also a great information site for the community, and will serve to increase our fundraising efforts.”

More than 100 programming hours have gone into designing the new site, said Lane Scoggin with SBResults.

Scoggin said the site has been exclusively designed as a “content management” site so that the pride committee can manage their site from any computer with no special software. The site will allow them to upload photos to the photo gallery, manage the events calendar, forms, sponsors, and board of directors.

“All of that is now something they can manage themselves to keep the site current,” Scoggin said. “Previous sites were beautiful and well designed, but the committee was not able to maintain the large amount of evolving information, so the site quickly became outdated.”

Grantham said the site “really showcases what Nashville Pride is all about”.

“It’s about our community involvement, our volunteers and our sponsors who support us,” he said. “Our new Website totally reflects who we are.”

“Lane and Shane with SBResults have been incredible to work with,” Granthan said.  They have done a fantastic job and have been so creative in coming up with a site that represents who this organization is.”

WhistlePig + Alfa Romeo F1

SHOREHAM, VT (September 13, 2023) — WhistlePig Whiskey, the leaders in independent craft whiskey, and Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake are waving the checkered flag on a legend-worthy release that’s taking whiskey to G-Force levels. The Limited Edition PiggyBack Legends Series: Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Barrel is a high Rye Whiskey selected by the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake drivers, with barrels trialed in their wind tunnel to ensure a thrilling taste in every sip.

The third iteration in WhistlePig’s Single Barrel PiggyBack Legends Series, the Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Barrel is bottled at 96.77 proof, a nod to Valtteri Bottas’ racing number, 77, and the precision of racing. Inspired by Zhou Guanyu, the first Chinese F1 driver, this Rye Whiskey is finished with lychee and oolong tea. Herbal and floral notes of the oolong tea complement the herbaceous notes of WhistlePig’s signature PiggyBack 100% Rye, rounded out with a juicy tropical fruit finish and a touch of spice.

Nurse Practitioner Ari Kravitz

When I started medical transition at 20 years old, it was very difficult to get the care I needed for hormone replacement therapy because there are very few providers trained in starting hormones for trans people, even though it’s very similar to the hormones that we prescribe to women in menopause or cisgender men with low testosterone.

I hope more providers get trained in LGBTQ+ healthcare, so they can support patients along their individual gender journey, and provide the info needed to make informed decisions about their body. I’ve personally seen my trans patients find hope and experience a better quality of life through hormone replacement therapy.
