DJ Killa Chris’s new playlist [CLICK HERE FOR PLAYLIST] of his top ten tracks for this week includes "Bite" by CASHEW - and much more!
THE LIST:
CASHEW - Bite
The production in this house track is really crisp. I love the detuned piano during the build up. It's a fun way to build up tension.
Petit Biscuit - Take Cover - Manila Killa Remix
This track has a great deep bassline. I love the way the vocals are manipulated and modulated throughout.
Fred Falke, Zen Freeman, Ten Ven, Kelli-Leigh - So Good
Fred Falke is one of those producers that I always keep an eye out for new releases. The arpeggio and bass in this song are upbeat and fun.
Deadmau5 - Nextra
The melody of this song is infectious. I enjoy the long build ups and breakdowns especially when the bass and synths play off each other.
HI-LO, Reinier Zonneveld, Oliver Heldens - Saw of Olympus
I love everything about this song. The bassline is massive with some fun acid house elements. Expect to hear this a lot over the summer.
1788-L - Automaton
The beats in this song are really punchy and the funky bass compliments the robotic singing.
Rival, Neoni - Throne
I really like the vocals on this track, they remind me a little of Billie Eilish. The bass has a nice gritty buzz with just a touch wobble to it. The build ups are really well crafted with a lot of orchestral layers that really add to its intensity without being overbearing.
Haywyre - Wisdom
I really like the way the vocals are manipulated in this song. Haywyre’s sound design is always so unique and strange sounding at times but that’s what I love about it.
Giorgia Angiuli - Your Mind Is A Magnet
The haunting vocals go really well with the dark bassline on this house track. The excessive amount of echo and reverb creates some unique sounding layers.
Pocket - Different Ways To Love You
This UK Garage track has a smooth bass and fun chopped up vocals that act more as a synth than actual vocals.
