The Nicklaus Course at Pronghorn Golf Club, Oregon
This course is well worth the play and should be on every golfer’s bucket list. It’s in Bend, Oregon, which means it isn’t exactly a stone’s throw away from Portland International airport. But, you’re in luck - you can get a private charter plane to zoom you over there for some of the most amazing golf in the region.
Designed by golfing great Jack Nicklaus, the course is impressive and pristine. Juniper forests and unique lava formations are just some of the amazing sights. Pikewood National Golf Club, West Virginia
This spectacular golf course is just a little more than 2 miles away from the local airport, so you won’t waste a stitch of time getting your drive on.

Scioto Country Club, Ohio
The beautifully manicured lawns of the Scioto Country Club may hide the challenge of the course, but they perfectly express the elegant experience of playing here.

Scioto is also known for being one of the most challenging opening 5 holes around, so come prepared for a hard fight. It will be worth it when you reach the end together, though!

The mix of desert scenery and lush greens is a striking and beautiful sight, and even the frustration of the challenging holes is somehow enjoyable when you’re experiencing it with your SO.

Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club, Michigan
Overlooking Lake Michigan, this seaside links-esque course is incredible, not only in the golf play, but also the breathtaking views.
You don’t need to be a member to enjoy a round here. You’re welcome to reserve a tee time any time, and you’ll be glad you did.
The club actually offers two courses. Both, although fairly flat, are rough and rugged, providing a decent challenge for even advanced golfers.
Don’t let your experience stop there, though. Savor a scrumptious meal at the restaurant and spend a romantic night in one of their luxurious rooms or cottages before flying back the next day.
