“Girl on Girl Comedy & Revue,” a comedy series featuring the best regional female and GLBT comedians and performers, will be at Zanies Comedy Night Club on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m. This month’s performers include: Christy Eidson, Leslie Nash, Peter Depp, Andie Lynne, Erica McKown, and Laura Grey.s Kathy von, and some special guests - THE MEN OF ARROW! The Mistress of Ceremonies for all shows will be Nashville talent Christy Eidson. This is the only show like it Nashville, that caters to not only a female audience but the GLBT community conjointly.

Producer of “Girl on Girl Comedy & Revue,” Christy Eidson, was emcee at Nashville Pride Festival this past weekend as well as last year. In addition, she hosted “Family Feud” at Tribe as part of their Pride festivities.

“Girl on Girl Comedy & Revue” began as a showcase for the area’s top female and GLBT comedic talent. It has parlayed its show into an entertainment event by adding variety acts, such as music, magic, burlesque, and pole dancing. You never know what you are going to get when you come to a GoG show, but you will definitely have a good time. The typical GoG show is a diversely mixed audience, usually a majority female.

The audience is an assorted mix of backgrounds, demographics, and sexual orientations, but they all have one thing in common: they have come to let their collective hair down and have fun! All shows are Rated R, so the prudish beware. GoG also gives back to the community by collecting money and raising awareness at each show for a local charity.

Zanies is located at 2025 8th Ave. South. Tickets Girl on Girl Comedy tickets are $10 for individuals or $15 for couples, and show time is 7:30 p.m. sharp. Come early and have dinner prior to the show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. For ticket information, call (615) 269-0221. This show will be monthly on the first Wednesday of each month.

For more information, please feel free to contact the show’s organizer, Christy Eidson, by email at christy@comic.com or call (615) 838-1269.
