Indy is searching for Excellence in Business nominees

Updated August 18, 2021 by Outvoices Editors

The Indy Rainbow Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the 2021 Excellence in Business Awards ceremony presented by Regions Bank. This event will honor members of the Indianapolis LGBTQ+ community who work tirelessly towards making Indy a greater place to live, work and play for everyone.

The Indy Rainbow Chamber was formed in 2002 and incorporated by President Emeritus Chris Douglas. The Chamber was formed as a bi-partisan group for LGBTQ business owners, employees and allies.

Rainbow Chamber is a diverse business networking organization dedicated to the LGBTQ community and its allies working to encourage a business environment that is inclusive and promotes Indianapolis and Central Indiana as a welcoming place to live, visit and do business.

Organizers are looking for potential nominees in each of the following categories. Please take the time to read the description of the award and nominate the person or organization you think is best suited for that particular award. Simply reply to this email by Friday, August 27 with your nominees. If you don't know of a nominee in a category, please feel free to leave it blank.

All of the nominees will then receive an application which will be reviewed for consideration. A list of finalists will be compiled, voted on by our members, and the winners will be announced at our Excellence in Business Award ceremony on October 6. I would also like to thank our sponsors for this event: Regions Bank, Delta Faucet and Progress Studio.
