The Whole Person invites the community to a Covid Vaccination Health Fair, in collaboration with the Unified Government Wyandotte County Health Department, on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 10:00am until 2:00pm. The event will be held at 7836 State Ave. (former Kmart Building), Kansas City, Kansas 66112. You do not have to live in Kansas to take advantage of this event. Everyone is welcome to attend!
Residents are welcome to RSVP by calling The Whole Person's Kansas office at (913) 871-4188. A mobile vaccination clinic is available to anyone who cannot travel. Covid-19 testing will also be available. There is no cost for the vaccine, testing or health fair.
The Unified Government Wyandotte County Health Department will be offering the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson Vaccines. They will offer 1 and 2nd vaccines and the booster for immunocompromised people, or anyone that qualifies for the 3rd dose (Pfizer Only). The Moderna vaccine is only a 1st or 2nd dose (or a potential 3rd dose for immunocompromised people who qualify. No boosters yet for Moderna).
The Whole Person will have giveaways and a door prize drawing every 30 minutes! The organization will have representatives from numerous departments to pass out information and share details about their programs and services for people with disabilities in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
