The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has awarded more than $1 million to more than one hundred local organizations throughout Middle Tennessee, including a $5,000 grant to the Nashville Film Festival to host gay and lesbian filmmakers during this year's festival.

All About Women has received a grant of $2,500 to develop a website of online resources, services, and information for women.
ALS Association-Tennessee Chapter has received a grant of $5,000 to support the respite care program that provides relief to caregivers of ALS patients.
American Diabetes Association has received a grant of $5,000 to provide resources and materials to people of color about diabetes.
American Roots Music Education has received a grant of $7,200 to produce musical programs about American roots music for children in grades K-12.
