The BE-Hive to Host Plant-Based, End-Of-Summer Cookout

The BE-Hive is hosting an End Of Summer Cookout during the upcoming holiday weekend on Saturday, August 31 during their normal business hours of 11a.m. - 4p.m. This new outdoor event is part of the The BE-Hive’s mission to strive to make plant-based eating easier and more accessible through products, events and catering. The BE-Hive offers both retail and wholesale items, are open each weekend for consumers to enjoy a vegan deli and host events that benefit the Nashville community and non-profit organizations.

"We here at The BE-Hive have always wanted to host a collaborative event with different local plant-based businesses and this BE-Hive End of Summer Cookout allows us the opportunity to strengthen this community and bring everyone together for one vegan food gathering," said Ben Stix, Be-Hive's owner. "It's going to be an awesome afternoon full of dope plant food, music, alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments - and all for a great cause. Proceeds from food and bar sales alongside the dunking booth will benefit Nashville Humane Association and we’ll have dogs at the party available for adoption. This will be something you won’t want to miss."

Proceeds from food, bar sales and other onsite activities like the dunking booth will benefit Nashville Humane Association who will also host adoptable pups onsite from 11a.m. - 1p.m. In addition to Nashville Humane Association’s Executive Director stepping into the booth, some of the other confirmed Nashvillians who will donate their time to be dunked for NHA include entrepreneur, Marcus Whitney, District 19 Metro Council Member, Freddie O’Connell and FOX 17 anchor and reporter, Erika Whitney.

“We are excited to participate in BE-Hive’s End Of Summer Cookout on Saturday, August 31st. The support from our local community helps us to complete Nashville Humane’s mission of finding responsible homes, controlling pet overpopulation and promoting the humane treatment of animals,” said Laura Chavarria, Nashville Humane Associatio's Executive Director.

The event has also secured generous supporters including event presenting sponsors, Absolut Juice and bar sponsor, Bearded Iris Brewing, which will both have products available for sale at the spirited event.

“We believe that Absolut Juice is Planet Earth's favorite vodka as we are on a mission to expand how the world thinks about its people, our product and the planet," Alex Rodriguez, Pernod Ricard USA's Market Activation Manager, said. "It was only natural for us to team with the BE-Hive to present this end of summer cookout that connects the Nashville community with philanthropy, sustainable and plant-based food vendors and more."

In addition to The BE-Hive’s vegan menu, the following participating food vendors will be serving up plant-based eats and will also contribute 10% of sales to nonprofit partner, Nashville Humane Association: AVO, Five Points Pizza, Succulent Vegan Tacos, Radical Rabbit, & Rose Gold Vegan Bakery.

Here’s the official End Of Summer menu but more options will be available onsite:
