The Art Institute of Tennessee - Nashville to begin offering classes in October

The Art Institute of Tennessee—Nashville will open for classes in October on the campus of what used to be CNA Insurance near the Nashville Airport.

With its first day of class slated for October 2, 2006, The Art Institute of Tennessee—Nashville will occupy approximately 60,000 square feet at 100 CNA Drive in the building that initially housed CNA Insurance, and has easy access to Interstate 40E. The Art Institute of Tennessee—Nashville will begin enrolling students immediately.

"The Art Institute of Tennessee - Nashville will offer curricula that complement the demand for arts education in the Tennessee region, as well as Southern Kentucky and Northern Alabama," says John Mazzoni, president of The Art Institutes. Initially, The Art Institute of Tennessee - Nashville will offer bachelor's degree programs in Audio Production, Culinary Arts Management, Digital Media Production, Graphic Design, Interior Design and Interactive Media Design. The Associate in Arts degree programs will be offered in Audio Production, Culinary Arts, Graphic Design and Interactive Media Design. Diplomas will be awarded in Culinary Arts in two areas: skills and baking & pastry. This new school will operate as a branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta under Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097, phone 404-679-4501) accreditation.
