Tennessee Repertory Theatre recently announced plans for a new partnership with Red/Tribe/Play. Tennessee Rep will host cast parties for its remaining shows of the 2007-2008 season at the Church Street entertainment complex in addition to other promotional activities.
“No one throws a party like Red/Tribe/Play,” said Pat Patrick, Tennessee Rep marketing manager. “We could not be more thrilled to be working with Red/Tribe/Play for our cast parties. As supportive as the GLBT community is of live professional theatre and of the arts, this was just a natural fit.”
In addition to cast parties, Tennessee Rep and Red/Tribe/Play will also work together for a variety of other promotions and activities including ticket giveaways, discounts and featured events, such as an upcoming screening of the classic holiday film It’s a Wonderful Life in conjunction with Tennessee Rep’s production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play.
The screening of It’s a Wonderful Life will take place on Mon., Dec. 10, at 8:00 p.m. and will include trivia questions from the movie and ticket giveaways to Tennessee Rep’s production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play (November 29 – December 22 at TPAC’s Johnson Theater).
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Tennessee Rep,” says David Taylor, co-owner of Red/Tribe/Play. “It’s great to be associated with one of Tennessee’s highest-regarded theater companies, and it’s our hope that we’ll be able to expose many of our customers to Tennessee Rep as well as encourage their audience to have drinks at Tribe and dinner at Red before shows.”
