Sex and the City 2 -- It’s Fabulous Fun!

If anyone’s thinking of bringing a straight man to “Sex and the City 2”, forget it. He will walk out.
This movie is definitely for women and us gays. It oozes fabulous decadence. Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte are all back and dressed to kill! When the girls head off to Abu Dhabi on a luxurious, all-expenses-paid PR trip, they find that even thousands of miles between them and the Big Apple don’t hinder their fashion sense or their friendship.
The girls are all now dealing with the stresses of their busy lives, the spicing up of a new marriage and even menopause. Everybody is different and thus, anyone can make their own rules when it comes to their lives and relationships.
This is the central theme of the colorful sequel and even a part of the over-the-top wedding of Stanford and Anthony. Do couples have to play by the traditional rules or can they make up their own?
Rules and relationships are put to the test during their trip to the Middle East. But the friends soon see the traditional roles that women there are put in and begin to realize that rules are meant to be broken and that they are there for each other, no matter what. As Samantha says, “We’re soul mates.”
This movie is so much fun. It’s filled with laughs that also require a glee-filled mini-clap. Yes, as I told you, this movie is very gay. The men are all gorgeous (even with their clothes on), the locations are stunning, the fashion sparkles, and the drinks are plentiful.
And if that’s not enough to make you want to see this film, I have one word for you … Liza. Yes, it’s Ms. Minnelli singing Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.”
After watching this must-see hit of the summer, run home and make love to your significant other. If you are still looking for that special someone, then grab your friends and a cosmo, because there is plenty of love and sex to be found in the city.
