It’s great that drag is blossoming around the city but we want to make sure you know about a special one night only performance coming up Friday, September 6. Deception returns to the stages at Play Dance Bar. Hundreds turned out earlier this year to help raise money for Deception’s Leukemia treatments. Well, she is making a speedy recovery and looking just as beautiful as ever, proving bald is the new blonde! While she is being a good diva and following doctors’ orders we can hardly wait for her big return to the Play stage for a one-night performance.

And with pageant season in full swing. We’re ready to crown some queens. Our first opportunity will be at Miss Gay Tennessee America on September 15. Held at Play, Nashville's own Suzy Wong will pass the crown on to the next queen to represent Tennessee at Miss Gay America! The pageant begins at 7:00 p.m. and admission is $10. Come back tomorrow and check out Hollis Hollywood's full report on contestant Giselle Nicole.

And for the pageant I’m most looking forward to, 2013 Music City All American Goddess, will take place September 30. This is personally one of my favorite systems as I competed last year and will return again this year. Divas will flock from all over the country to compete in this prelim for the AAG system which has already produced two National All American Goddesses. These queens are sure to give us one amazing pageant everyone won't soon forget. So, be sure to come out and support your favorite queen as she begins the long journey to the national pageant.

Held at Play, the pageant will begin at 9 p.m. and Nashville Untucked plans to spill all the dirty deets on the next goddess.

Come back soon to check out our upcoming Q&A’s with some the city’s best entertainers. Until then, stay tucked.
