Nashville Pride announces 2015 entertainment lineup

Nashville Pride announced this week its 2015 entertainment line up for the upcoming concert and festival to take place at Public Square Park on Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th.

The lineup this year includes headlining performances by St. Lucia, Mya, The Veronicas,Cazwell, and RuPaul's Drag Race winner Chad Michaels.


In addition to multiple headlining performances during this year's celebration of equality, Nashville Pride announced supporting acts including Shelly Fairchild, Sinclair, Hank and Cupcake, and Indiana Queen. This year's main stage hosts include 2014 Miss Nashville Pride Obscenity and RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Jayden Diore Fierce. DJ Ron, Lady B, DJ Remedy and DJs from QDPwill offer up dance hits throughout the both days of the festival. Additional acts and specific performance times will be released at a later date.


St. Lucia will bring its unique brand of dreamy, nostalgic pop to the Nashville Pride Festival & Concert this year. The band had a wildly successful year with the release of their EP, "When The Night" which hit #6 on the Billboard Heatseeker's Chart last year. Most recently, the band made a buzzworthy performance at Coachella 2015. They have recently finished tours with Ellie Goulding and CharliXCX,and performed at other nationally known festivals such as Lollapalooza and Governors Ball.


Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Mya will bring her hits including ’Lady Marmalade, Ghetto Superstar, My Love is Like…Wo,’ to the Nashville Pride main stage. The songtress also known for her award-winning role in the musical film Chicago, a successful run on Dancing With the Stars, and numerous Pride Festival appearances shows that this triple threat is hot, hot, hot and ready to entertain the thousands who will attend the annual festival of equality in Nashville.


Australian pop duo The Veronicas are making their return to Music City to support their new self-titled album, which debuted #2 on the Australian charts in November 2014 and has maintained a Top 30 presence since it's release late last year. The band was formed in 1999 by identical twin sisters Lisa Origliasso and Jessica Origliasso. Following a hiatus and signing with Sony Music Entertainment, the sisters released "You Ruin Me", the first single from their self-titled third album in September 2014. The song debuted at number one on the ARIA Charts, becoming the girls' second chart-topping single andtheir first to debut in the top spot. In the United States, The Veronicas have most recently received rave reviews from Entertainment Tonight, Perez Hilton and more. 


The Nashville Pride Festival & Concert will take place at Public Square Park on Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th.  Nashville Pride Weekend passes are $25.00 and are on sale now.  Entrance into the Festival on Saturday June 27th is $5 cash at the door without a weekend pass.
