Sanders joins Diversity Training Team; kicks off session in New York

Chris Sanders, TEP president and former Nashville GLBT Chamber President,  joined Diversity Builder's diversity training team in the summer of 2007. Sanders successfully launched his first training session this December facilitating a diversity training program with a corporation's supervisory team in Buffalo, New York.

Nashville Cares welcomes new faces, promotions

Tiffinea Jones is Cares' Early Intervention Services Coordinator. Jones most recently was a medical social worker at Vanderbilt Center.  EIS is a new program designed to help HIV-infected individuals become linked to and remain in care. The program will work closely with HIV Counseling and Testing Services (CTS). 

Community educator Kevin Lawson was recently appointed as HIV CTS Coordinator and Mental Health Specialist Brandon Brown, M. Ed. has been promoted to Project HEART Coordinator. Volunteer Mark Taneski joins the HEARTLine team as a Client Advocate.

Kacy Chambers is the new Quality Assurance Specialist for the Insurance and Dental Assistance Program (IDAP). IDAP Clerk Christie Jones has been promoted to Insurance Assistance Specialist with the program.

Cares also welcomes Rachel Hooper as Data Systems Specialist and Jill Jones, Cares' new Receptionist. 

Tim Daniels joins the Prevention Education Department as HIV Education Coordinator for Healthy U, a program for people living with HIV/AIDS. Tim recently moved to Nashville from southern California, where he has been involved in AIDS work for more than 10 years. He succeeds community educator Ken Barton, who assumes responsibility for The Circuit and other education with the GLBT community.

Cares also announced Jasmine Quattlebaum has joined the fundraising team as a Development Associate working on special events.
