Music City PrEP Steps Up Support of Nashville LGBT Chamber

The Nashville LGBT Chamber announced today that Rod Bragg Music City PrEP Clinic has bolstered its investment in the Nashville LGBT Chamber becoming the first-ever Titanium level member. Previously a Gold member, Music City PrEP’s Titanium Membership highlights the tremendous recent growth of the Nashville LGBT Chamber, which now represents over 500 Nashville area small businesses, corporations, nonprofits and entrepreneurs committed to promoting equity and diversity in business and society.

"With success and visibility comes responsibility, and we could not have reached this point in our trajectory this soon without the support of the LGBTQ+ community. It's an honor and our pleasure to support and participate in our community's chamber at the highest level." said Rich MacKinnon, Executive Director of Music City PrEP.

MacKinnon continued, "As a non-profit dedicated to ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Nashville and Middle Tennessee, we are laser-focused on that mission; however, we know that we can't do it alone. We are constantly on the lookout for partners we can strengthen and support in the service of our shared goals. The work that the Nashville LGBT Chamber does on behalf of all us makes us all stronger. We look forward to an even stronger partnership with the Chamber and our community".

“Support from members like Music City PrEP is what makes our work possible,” said Joe Woolley, CEO of the Nashville LGBT Chamber. “In the middle of an economic and health crisis, when many of our members and businesses are hurting, Music City PrEP is demonstrating that they care about our community and ensuring that LGBT people can thrive in business by supporting the work we do while supporting their health in the work that they do.”

Music City PrEP Clinic’s Titanium level membership comes following The Nashville LGBT Chamber’s announcement that it was suspending payments of dues for all of its members, in response to both COVID-19 and the Nashville Tornado. Most members are small businesses, entrepreneurs and individual networking members. The generous support of large corporate members like Music City PrEP enables the Chamber to continue its work during these challenging times to support all its members. The Nashville LGBT Chamber is advocating for its members to ensure that LGBT owned businesses are equally represented in all recovery efforts.  The chamber is also very active in educating and connecting its members about and to all the available resources and tools need to recover. You can see the Nashville LGBT Chambers’ current COVID-19 efforts on it website.
