Award-winning singer, songwriter and activist Melissa Etheridge has released “For The Last Time”, the second single off her upcoming album One Way Out – to be released on September 17, 2021 via BMG.
Etheridge has also released the accompanying music video, which features never before seen studio footage from 2013.

“For The Last Time” is part of a collection of music written by Melissa in the late 1980s and early '90s that either weren’t right for a particular project at the time or material she just never felt comfortable release….until now that is. There have been several times that the rocker and activist revisited the material and thought about releasing it but the time was never right.
For those of us who have followed Etheridge's incredible career sine her roots in Leavenworth, KS all the way to fame in L.A., and then coming out to the American public when LGBTQ people were not widely accepted or understood, these new songs provide an essential glimpse into the making of a Midwest legend.
