Charity for sexually abused children awarded $30,000 grant

Sexually Abused Children’s Relief Endeavor-sacred, has announced the Board of Directors of The Shirley E. Noland Foundation has approved a generous grant of $30,000 to sacred for the continued financial assistance of child sexual abuse victims and their families. The organization is both grateful and honored to be recognized and supported for work assisting families overcome financial obstacles caused by the reporting of child sexual abuse.

July 1st marked their 13th year of grant making, supporting nonprofits in the disciplines of Pancreatic Cancer, Abused/Neglected Children, Domestic Violence and Animals in No Kill Environments.  The Shirley E. Noland Foundation has supported nonprofits in these disciplines with over $1,000,000 in grants.

About Sexually Abused Children’s Relief Endeavor-sacred

Founded in 2009, sacred is a tax-exempt charitable organization with a mission of providing immediate assistance to families experiencing financial issues due to the reporting of child sexual abuse. Upon board approval of an application, sacred provides grants to cover housing, food, utilities and other necessities to families with child sexual abuse victims within 24 hours so the immediate needs of the family are addressed while they sort through the emotional and legal issues inherent with child sexual abuse victims. ‘sacred’ works directly with accredited Child Advocacy Centers throughout the United States. www.kidsaresacred.org
