Among the highlights of this year's event will be the return of the Kansas City Pride Parade, Saturday, August 21. The parade will kick-off near Westport Rd and Broadway Boulevard, heading south on Broadway Blvd / Mill Creek Pkwy toward Emmanuel Cleaver II Blvd and end at Thies Park.

The Mid-America LGBT Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors will be walking in the parade plus we will have a booth at the event! Come and see us!

The KC Pride Community Alliance, this year's event organizers, are looking for volunteers and sponsors.

In other news, the Chamber is BACK to in-person events with an August B2B, presented by Boulevard Brewing, Evergy & UMB! Join us August 19, 2021, from 5:30pm to 8:00pm in the Boulevard Brewing Muehlebach Suite.

The night will be hosted by Ruby, high-energy, always smiling, quick-witted jewel of Kansas City and Queen of Happy Faces Entertainment. Enjoy an evening with entertainment by Alisa Jefferson. Jefferson is blazing a new trail in the 2021's with her straightforward brand of rock with a touch of blues. Dutzel's Catering is providing a spread of appetizers.

The Chamber will be implementing a color system on nametags for comfort with contact. Masks will be required at the event unless in the process of eating or drinking. If you are unvaccinated guests are asked to join the event via Facebook live and not in-person.
