Invigor8 Communications opens East Nashville PR firm

Invigor8 Communications, a full-service marketing communications and public relations firm, has opened in East Nashville with a focus on small businesses and non-profit organizations in Middle Tennessee.

Rusty Carbaugh, principal of Invigor8, says his company is positioned to serve clients with marketing needs and budgets of any size.

“Invigor8 Communications is excited to provide accessible and affordable marketing communication services to small businesses. We know that a great deal of time, effort and creative energy is invested in launching a brand and marketing strategy to engage consumers and donors, but it shouldn't cost a fortune," Carbaugh said.

"Invigor8 was created so that small businesses have access to affordable and engaging marketing solutions that will help them grow and expand."

"When small business succeeds, we all succeed – and that is why I launched here in Nashville – to help small businesses here succeed and grow. After all, small business is the true engine that drives America’s economy."

Carbaugh is a veteran to marketing communications, public relations and consumer insights. Before creating Invigor8, he worked as a consultant out of the Baltimore and Washington, D.C. region and continued in that role after moving to Nashville two years ago.

His professional experience includes human resources, marketing communications and development work across the country for Fortune 500 companies such as Bayer and Eckerd Drugs as well as non-profits such as the Coalition to End Childhood Lead Poisoning, Live Baltimore Home Center, East Academy of Nashville and Mending Hearts of Nashville.   Carbaugh also played an active role in the campaigns of U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.), MD State Senator Catherine E. Pugh of Baltimore, and several additional local and regional campaigns in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Carbaugh currently serves on the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s Brooks Fund Advisory Board; the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville’s NWBA Steering Committee, treasurer of the Music City Softball League, is an active leader in the Human Rights Campaign and a member of the Nashville GLBT Chamber of Commerce.

Invigor8 has formed several strategic alliances with Nashville area printers, Web programmers and other businesses to help its clients execute turn-key marketing campaigns.

"Much like a general contractor manages the building process on behalf of a homeowner, Invigor8 can manage all of its clients marketing needs so that they can focus on running their business or organization." Carbaugh said.

"Again, we are here to serve small businesses and help them grow. I have no desire to become a huge agency, and I am not positioning Invigor8 to compete with them. Our market is in great need of affordable marketing options, and we're here to fulfill that need for small and medium size businesses."

Invigor8 Communications is located at 935A Woodland Street in East Nashville’s 5-Points Area and currently serves clients in Nashville, San Francisco and Baltimore. More information about the firm is available at www.getinvigor8ed.com.
