H&M to open in June

Are you ready to bend it like Beckham? Or how about writhe around on the sand with Beyoncé? Okay maybe neither of those things are going to happen but if you see any of the latest ads for H&M underwear or their female summer collection, you'd sure hope you were able to.

Beckham may be the hottest guy in recent sports history and Beyoncé is definitely one of (if not the) world's hottest pop star so when H&M opens its first Tennessee location at Opry Mills next month you can expect it to be the hottest store opening in recent times.

An H&M representative confirms that H&M will in fact open its doors Thursday June 6. So you know what that means ... be on the look out for others wearing your outfit all weekend long.

But that is the great thing about H&M. Its collections are not only affordable but also interchangeable allowing anyone brand of style to create a comfortable and contemporary look. Plus if need some comfortable work dress shirts or suits, H&M is the place to shop.

“We are committed to opening in the best locations throughout the United States, and the Southeast is a big area of focus for us,” says Daniel Kulle, U.S. President for H&M. “We are excited that our first location in Tennessee will be in the state capital. We welcome Nashville to the H&M family and look forward to opening in a city with such strong culture.”

The approximately 25,000 square foot H&M at Opry Mills will offer collections for ladies, men, young ladies and young men, with separate “store within store” sections for accessories, lingerie, sports apparel and maternity. This location will also carry the Swedish retailer’s fantastic children’s collection, which features quality clothing for kids ages newborn to fourteen, as well as its plus-size line, H&M+.

H&M is the first fashion company to roll out a global garment recycling program. Through this initiative, H&M customers at  Opry Mills can help save natural resources and contribute to reduced environmental impact by donating old and unwanted pieces of clothing from any brand while in the store. For each bag of clothing donated, customers will receive a voucher for 15% off an item of their choice on their next purchase.  

H&M, one of the world’s largest retailers known for offering fashion-forward apparel and quality basics, is also the largest user of organic cotton in the world. The  store  at  Opry Mills  will offer the best of sustainable  fashion  through its Summer 2013 collection.  Allowing  Nashville consumers to shop in style, H&M will offer the latest summer trends such as ruffled dresses, printed skirts, flat sandals, and espadrilles for women, and t-shirts, blazers, and baseball caps for men.

In celebration of opening day, H&M at Opry Mills will offer the first 300 shoppers in line an H&M t-shirt and Access to Fashion Pass, valued from $10 to $300, in addition to other fantastic opening offers for the whole family!

So circle June 6 in red on your calendar and be prepared to show up early as their will be giveaways (and you can bet long lines) to celebrate their grand opening.
