Concorde’s just-opened Kansas City campus in the St. Joseph Medical Center complex was officially unveiled during the New Campus Showcase on August 6.
This 50,000-square-foot campus is the second, and largest, Concorde location in Kansas City.
After a ribbon cutting ceremony, visitors were invited to explore classrooms, labs and clinics to experience the campus first-hand. Live demonstrations took place in program labs, which feature high-tech equipment that is used by health care providers nationwide.
Participants were able to experience the type of hands-on education and training Concorde Career College students receive to prepare them for health care careers as a:
· Dental assistant
· Medical assistant
· Surgical technologist
· Dental hygienist
· Physical therapy assistant
· Cardiovascular/diagnostic ultrasound technician
· Practical nurse
· Respiratory therapist
It comes as figures show substantial job growth is predicted in the medical sector.
