The Edge Salon has announced the opening of a new Brentwood location in early 2007. The new salon will be located at 7028 Church Street, suite 104, just off Franklin Road in Brentwood.
Owners Charles Scarbro and Bill Vandiver said they felt a second location was necessary to keep up with their steadily increasing clientèle.
"We've experienced a great deal of growth and wanted to expand our service area," Scarbro commented. "We simply wanted to spread ourselves out more and offer our clients more options and convenience."
And they quite literally will be spreading themselves out to meet those needs. There are currently no plans to hire any new stylists for the Brentwood salon. Current employees will work rotating shifts at each salon on different days of the week allowing clients the option to visit their favorite stylist at the location most convenient for them.
Scarbro says the new salon in Brentwood will have a similar look and feel to the current salon in Belle Meade utilizing '40s era movie stars, Elivs Presley and Marilyn Monroe as inspiration points for the interior design.
All services currently available at the Belle Meade salon will be available at the new Brentwood location. A grand opening celebration with celebrity guests is planned for the first week of February 2007.
Joshua Payne will perform at Holy Trinity Community Church (HTCC), 6727 Charlotte Pike in Nashville, on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $10 to attend the concert.There will be an artist reception after the show in the fellowship hall of the church. All profits from the concert will go to the HTCC building expansion fund.

The committee charged with organizing the curriculum for the first six months of 2007 is starting the New Year by offering classes in topics as varied as Advanced Health Care Planning, Residential Garden Design, Financial Planning, a Medical Update for the LGBT Person, Digital Photography, and the Culinary Arts.
In addition, Lavender University will be conducting a monthly series congruent with the six-month curriculum that will spotlight Personal Empowerment.
