Fresh Brunch, the signature fundraising event for one∙n∙ten, returned to the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa Feb. 11. This year, the organization celebrates 25 years of serving LGBTQ youth through programs and services that promote self-expression, self-acceptance, leadership development and healthy life choices. The afternoon gala reflected on the numerous accomplishments of one•n•ten's past, offered attendees a look at future initiatives, including working through the chaotic times of tolerance and acceptance, and also recognize organizations and individuals that have helped change the lives of so many youth.

Meet the 2018 honorees:

Linda Elliott

Babe Caylor Individual Leadership Award

Since arriving in the Valley, Linda has left her mark on countless organizations through her leadership, dedication and drive. Over the last six years, she launched several of our hallmark programs, including POND housing, YES workforce development and the build out of now two youth centers. Linda will forever be a part of the fabric of what makes one∙n∙ten magical. Thank you Linda for all of your years of service!

Fry's Food Stores

Corporate Leadership Award

In June 2017, Fry's Food Stores launched a statewide "healthy meals and safe spaces" equality campaign featuring their commitment to one∙n∙ten youth. The month-long awareness campaign included signage in all Arizona stores and a commitment to covering our grocery needs through the donation of over $6,000 in gift cards. This funding allowed us to launch "what's cooking one∙n∙ten" a bi-weekly program focused on healthy meal prep and cooking fundamentals.

Robinson Maynes

Nora Gustavsson Volunteer Spirit Award

Robinson has influenced the lives of countless one∙n∙ten youth through his 550+ hours of volunteer service. Beyond his work as a weekly program volunteer at the youth center he is a Camp Outdoors counselor, and is a fixture at our holiday events where he teaches baking and candy making classes. Robinson's passion, dedication and consistency mirrors that of Nora Gustavsson, a founding one∙n∙ten volunteer in 1993.
