DJ Killa Chris’ Top Tracks - May 8, 2021

DJ Killa Chris’s new playlist [CLICK HERE FOR PLAYLIST] of his top ten tracks for this week includes "Octopus Teeth" by Wolfgang Gartner - and much more!

THE LIST:

Wolfgang Gartner - Octopus Teeth

I’m so glad Wolfgang is back and making seriously good electro house. I always appreciate the amount of disco samples that show up in his music.

Robotaki, Pell - Now That We've Been in Love

This song is so freaking smoothe. Every aspect of sound design and song writing on this track is superb. There is also a great Mat Zo drum n bass remix.

Seven Lions, Wooli, Amidy - Shadows

If you are a fan of melodic dubstep you probably already know these names. Another great track that hits hard at the drop.

Louis The Child - So What (with A R I Z O N A)

Another superb house track by Louis the Child. I love the strange sounding synth that is used for the melody.

Steve Hart - Bad Boy (Boogie Knights Remix)

This house remix is a lot of fun. The guitar and piano are what stick out the most in this song.

William Black, Annie Schindel - Remedy

The chorus on this song is infectious. The sound design is really clean. I definitely want to hear more from these two.

Futuristic Polar Bears, Sammy Boyle - Mind Reader

This song hits so hard after the drop. Definitely going to be a good song at festivals this year.

Stonebank, Nino Lucarelli - Strength Unknown

The vocals on this song are so catchy. I have found myself singing along a few times. The piano in the build up is a nice touch.

Sagan - Protocol

I love the breakbeat portions of this track so much. It makes me think of a lot of music I listened to in the early 2000s. The bass and melodies compliment each other so well and I love the constant manipulation the bassline undergoes.

Saint Punk - Closer Tonight

The haunting vocals are brilliant. The build ups and drops are so high energy every time the beat comes back it makes me want to start dancing.
