Chicago Pride Fest to return in October

The 20th annual Chicago Pride Fest® will return as an in-person event on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 1-2, Friday 4 p.m.-10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

The popular LGBTQ+ street festival, organized by Northalsted Business Alliance, is a two-day community celebration of Pride, concluding the day before the Chicago Pride Parade, happening Sunday, Oct. 3.

Northalsted President Ramesh Ariyanayakam said: "Northalsted celebrates pride year round; a fall festival will be no less extravagant and celebratory."

A $15 entry fee is the recommended donation to help cover festival costs, support local charities, and fund community programming. The lineup of performers and activities is yet to be announced.
