2006 Gay Life and Business Expo set for Nov. 4

Planning is underway for Nashville’s second annual Gay Life and Business Expo, to be held November 4.

After an outstanding high energy, interactive first year showing, this expo is expected to attract more vendors and participants. More than 500 people attended last year’s expo.

The following assistance is needed to support the event this year:

Nashville Agent optimizes technology in home tours

Realtor Brian Copeland has said he is the first Tennessee Realtor to offer 360 Podtours.

Podtours, a term Brian coined, are portable virtual property tours that may be downloaded and viewed on Apple iPods. Podtours are attractive to mobile buyers, who may view the tours between appointments or during flight layovers.

"I just started the tours and I'm getting tons of hits. My email box has been filled with unbelievably nice compliments," he said.

Free downloads of Copeland's 360 Podtours are available at http://www.nashvilleandbeyond.com/ and will soon be broadcast through iTunes.

TRiLiGi announces pre-release CD

TRiLiGi, a Nashville-based three member Christian harmony group, has pre-released its new CD, yet to be officially named. The CD is available at the group's Web site, (www.triligi3.com), or through the Holy Trinity Community Church.

TRiLiGi is known for their tight three part harmonies and diverse vocal styles ranging from R&B and Pop to Contemporary Christian and Gospel enabling them to encourage and motivate audiences of all ages and cultural backgrounds.

Before TRiLiGi was formed, the group's members had all formerly performed primarily as solo artists. They joined together for the first time at Holy Trinity Community Church in Nashville. Since then, TRiLiGi has performed in gospel music events throughout the Southeastern United States.

CCC to host revival

Christ Community Church will host a three-day revival August 11-13, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Christian artist Ray Vester will be in concert August 11 as well as the keynote speaker for the a.m. service on August 13. He will also perform for the Music Extravaganza on August 12.

Ray began recording in 1979 and released two new projects in 2005, entitled Here and Now and Keyboard Favorites. He is the youngest of three siblings and is a native of Rocky Mount, NC. Ray has been a part of several gospel groups including The Kings Messengers and The Gospel Laymen. He is currently touring the US and Canada.

Tennessee Transgender Political Action Committee hosts second annual fundraising dinner

The Tennessee Transgender Political Action Committee will host its second annual fundraising dinner Saturday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville, 1808 Woodmont Blvd.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Randy Tarkington, campaign manager for the Vote NO on 1 Campaign.

The menu will offer Italian style spaghetti, fresh garden salad, garlic bread, and iced tea. Admission is $20 per person.
