Bianca Paige finds new home at Lucky’s Garage

On Friday, June 15, Lucky’s Garage hosted the first Lucky’s La Cage performance featuring legendary Nashville entertainer, Bianca Paige. In typical form, Bianca thrilled a packed house by debuting a new and sprawling medley of songs all with the word "Lucky" in them.

After relocating from his hometown of Paducah, Kentucky more than 20 years ago, Mark Middleton created the fun-loving character everyone has come to know and love as Bianca Paige. Over these past two decades, Bianca has entertained countless audiences across the nation and worked tirelessly for numerous charitable causes.

Bianca Paige, The Pantomime Rage as she is often intro-ed, is perhaps Nashville’s fiercest, funniest and most recognized drag queen. Known for her raspy voice and an unquenchable thirst for “cock-tails,” Bianca has been entertaining Nashvillians for twenty-two years.

She comes to Lucky's Garage having reached yet another milestone in her career — being crowned Miss State of Tennessee. Bianca has over 20 titles to her name with additional current titles including Miss Music City and “Favorite Drag Queen” in both the Out & About Newspaper and Church Street Freedom Press reader polls.

“The time has come in my journey to take a different road to where I need to be,” said Bianca. “I am looking forward to 20 more years of being blessed with Tony Daniel and the family at Lucky’s Garage. I can’t express the love I continue to feel from all you wonderful people out there in the dark…my audience,” she added.

A scheduled performer at nearly all GLBT charitable events in Nashville, Bianca works tirelessly for many fundraising events and a variety of organizations such as Nashville CARES, Nashville Pride, the Vanderbilt AIDS Vaccine unit, Vanderbilt Children with AIDS, The Conductors, Human Rights Campaign and the Comprehensive Care Center. She is also the honored spokesperson for “The Bianca Paige Awareness Network,” an organization dedicated to AIDS awareness and prevention.

Paige has most recently performed as the Master of Ceremonies at The Chute Complex for the past five years after serving as the Show Director at The Connection Nashville for four years. She has also starred in the Nashville production of Torch Song Trilogy and held supporting roles in SITCOM and Ain’t We Got Fun.
