Girl on Girl Comedy & Revue will be at Zanies Comedy Night Club on Wednesday, November 20 at 7:30pm.  They will be collecting non-perishable food donations to benefit the Metro Nashville Police’s Charity Christmas Basket Program that gives gifts and food to needy families in the Davidson County and Metro Nashville area.  They will also be accepting monetary donations for the charity.  For more information on this program, click here.

Girl on Girl Comedy & Revue is a comedy series featuring the best regional female and LGBT comedians and performers.  This month’s performers include:  Holly Amber, Andie Lynne, Noalani Richards, Holly Johnson, Burlesque Performer Dolly Bootyful, and other special guests.s Kathy von, and some special guests - THE MEN OF ARROW!  The Mistress of Ceremonies for all shows will be Nashville comedian Christy Eidson.  This is the only show like it Nashville, that caters to not only a female audience but the LGBT community conjointly, and is the current longest running variety show in Nashville. 

Girl on Girl Comedy & Revue also gives back to the community by collecting money and raising awareness at each show for a local charity.  Last month, they raised money for the Walk to Defeat ALS, the fight against Lou Gehrig’s Disease.  This month, they will be collecting food for the Metro Police Christmas Charities.  Each year, Metro Christmas Basket Charities, Inc. collects money, food, and toys to be distributed to needy families, including many children, in the Metro Nashville area.  They “provide four bushels baskets of groceries per family.  The baskets of food and toys are assembled in a warehouse the week prior to Christmas.”  Walk to Defeat ALS® to do our part in the fight against Lou Gehrig’s

Girl on Girl Comedy & Revue began as a showcase for the area’s top female and LGBT comedic talent.  It has parlayed its show into an entertainment event by adding variety acts, such as music, magic, burlesque, and pole dancing.  You never know what you are going to get when you come to a GoG show, but you will definitely have a good time.  The typical GoG show is a diversely mixed audience, usually a majority female.  The audience is an assorted mix of backgrounds, demographics, and sexual orientations, but they all have one thing in common:  they have come to let their collective hair down and have fun!  All shows are Rated R, so the prudish beware. 

Zanies is located at 2025 8^th Avenue South.  Tickets Girl on Girl Comedy tickets are $10 or FREE with any donation of two non-perishable food items.  Come early and have dinner prior to the show.  Doors open at 6:30pm and show time is 7:30pm sharp. For ticket information, call 615-269-0221.
